HF in the Park
October 11th starting at noon in Long Lake Regional Park

Come on over and set up your radio gear, HF, VHF, Satellite, or whatever and enjoy the company of like-minded friends. Check out their ideas and set-ups, and operating styles. This is not a contest, just a place for hams and those interested in Amateur Radio to get together and share the hobby.  HF in the Park will be held each second-Saturday of April thru October.

We will meet at the main pavilion of the Long Lake Regional Park (1500 Old Highway 8, New Brighton). Follow the main entrance road west until you cross the rail road tracks then take the next right up to the parking area where we will be set up. There are bathrooms but there will be  no  power hook ups. There are many trees and open areas or for antenna placement, along with open areas available to set up a table to work from.

Club Events
Several time a year the ACRC helps out at events like parades, festivals, fun runs, fire works and more. These events tend to be fun and several are great family events. There is nothing like having a guaranteed front row seat at a fireworks event or parade. Check out the club calendar for more information.

General Meetings
You do not need to be a member to attend and family members of all ages are welcome. Each meeting will have a different topic for the month. There are ten General Meetings from January through June and again from September through December. We take the summer months off while everyone tend to be really busy having fun in the warm weather. General Meetings are normally held on the first Friday of the month, starting at 7:00 p.m. To view the minutes from these meetings, click on the Club Documents link.

We sponsor a two-meter repeater at 146.670 MHz (114.8 PL tone). For more details on the club's repeater, please check out the Repeater Status page.
