Blaine's Blazin' 4th is an annual festival held to celebrate the Fourth of July in Blaine, Minnesota. Blaine's Blazin' 4th kicks off the weekend before the Fourth of July. The weekend-long festivities are held at the Aquatore Park and involve a wide variety of entertainment for every member of the family. The Anoka County Radio Club is pleased to provide additional communications support for these events. We are looking for members to help out with these events. Remember - These events are family friendly!
Parade Saturday, June 26: We will meet in the parking lot of Jefferson Elementray School at Jefferson & 113th by 10:30 a.m. The lineup starts at 10:00 and the parade starts at noon. We should be done by 2:30 p.m. Click here for a map.
8K/4K Run Sunday, July 4: We will meet in the parking lot of the Lakeside Commons Park (beach) by 7:00 a.m. We will assign positions and stage at 7:30. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. The kids run will start at 10:00 a.m. Click here for a map.
Fireworks Sunday, July 4: We will meet in the parking lot of the Schwans Center by 6:00 p.m. We will deploy at 8:30 p.m. Please bring chairs, bug spray, etc for your comfort. Expect to be finished after 11:00 p.m. Click here for a map.
