Metro Skywarn

SKYWARN is a volunteer program of trained severe weather spotters.  These volunteers help keep their local communities safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service.

Minnesota Repeater Council (MRC)

The MRC is the repeater frequency coordination organization for the Minnesota area.

Minnesota Amatuer Radio Emergency Service (ARES)

Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) is a corps of trained amateur radio operator volunteers organized to assist in public service and emergency communications. It is organized and sponsored by the American Radio Relay League.

Minnesota ARES Metro Area

This link is a more defined geographical area of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area ARES organization. It does include specific events that one can volunteer. Examples are communication support for Marathons & Road Rally's.
