2016 Anoka Halloween Capitol of the World 5th Annual Special Event Station

  • Pre-event prep: Monday, 10/31, from 7 to 9 a.m.
  • Event Operation: Monday, 10/31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • We will need volunteer operators and loggers
    • Come for as long as you can stay. Or stop by have a warm beverage and say*****o.
  • Tear down: Monday, 10/31, from 3 p.m. to … ?
  • What we need:

    • HF setups (three stations are expected …)
    • Tools, wire, know-how for setup and teardown
    • Snack-Luck (like a potluck, but easier)

    What we’re providing:

    • Existing antennae and field antennae options
    • Grid Electric and generator
    • RVs for “indoor” operating
    • Hot-water beverages
    • Hygiene Facilities
    • Nationaland International Social Media advertising targeting Amateur Radio Operators

    The rest of the details:

    • We will be operating on three frequencies: 15 meters - 21.315, 20 meters - 14.245, and 40 meters - 7.215 (Adjust +/-) 
    • Stations contacted may request QSL with SASE to W0YFZ on arrl.org
